Aadhar enrollment of GST Applicants/ Taxpayers: The Unique Identification Authority of India has made urgent for all the Registrars as well as the Enrollment Agencies to make Aadhar enrollment of GST applicants/taxpayers in priority. The UIDAI has ordered the process to update the Mobile Numbers of all the GST Applicants and the Taxpayers on their Aadhar as soon as possible.
In order to update the mobile number in the Aadhar using Biometric Authentication, there should be the presence of an agent or representative at the Aadhar Enrollment Agency or registrar.

Chief Executive Officer of UIDAI, Dr. Ajay Bushan Pandey instructed to all the Agencies, that, they have to use Update Client Lite (UCL) at the time of updating the mobile numbers. But if UCL is not available, then they can update the Mobile Number using offline Enrolment Client Multi-Platform (ECMP). All the Registrars, as well as Enrollment Agencies, have been asked to upload the packets directly on the same day

All the registrars and the Enrollment Offices have been authorized to collect Rs 25 per request every time users want to update the Mobile Number in the Aadhar. The facility to update the Mobile Number is available across 40,000 Enrollment Centers located across the country expect for Assam and Meghalaya.
All the users can locate the Aadhar Enrollment Centers located in their City/ Village on the UIDAI website. There are various options to search for Enrollment offices located in your city, which are State, Pin Code and Search Box.
Apart from 40,000 Enrollment Centers, 15,000 Centers that are being run by UIDAI have a facility called update clients (UCL) in order update their mobile number, Email, and the Demographics.
Thus, all the GST Applicants and the Taxpayers have to update their Mobile Number in Aadhar.
